Serving the members

The In Trust Center for Theological Schools’ role is to serve members by helping connect leaders to resources for mission vitality. What that looks like is a wide array of help and opportunity for members.

In 2022, the Center worked with members across four different program initiatives and through Resource Consulting, a new podcast, 29 webinars and facilitated conversations, and an award-winning magazine.

“By the numbers it looks impressive, but the numbers aren’t the full story,” said Center President Amy Kardash. “We exist to serve our members and help them succeed. While proud of what our team does, I’m more pleased that our members have what they need to fulfill their missions.”

The Center’s work includes one-on-one conversations with leaders to offer connections and resources that fit a member’s specific context. The Center has a curated database of several thousand potential resources.

As well, programs such as the Wise Stewards Initiative, offers schools governance coaching with their boards and senior leaders.

Kardash said she expects increased engagement in the year ahead.

“We’re excited to see how we can better serve our members,” she said.
