News & Insights

By now, we all know the vast reach that Facebook has across the globe, and many are aware of how powerful a tool Facebook can be for nonprofits and educational institutions to engage with constituents and potential donors.

But if you’re just getting started with using Facebook for your organization, it can be daunting to know where to begin. Even if you have had a Facebook presence for a long time, perhaps it's never really gained traction with your audience.

Thankfully, Facebook has an information platform just for nonprofits, appropriately called Nonprofits on Facebook, which offers articles and advice.

The advice ranges in basics for those who are just getting started on Facebook, to advice on cultivating relationships with your audience, to best practices for engaging potential donors. So no matter where you are in your Facebook journey, there is helpful advice to strengthen your online presence. In addition, there are “success stories” from various nonprofits.

If you already have a presence on Facebook and would like to improve it, or if you are just getting started using Facebook to engage with your donors, alumni, and constituents, you may find some nuggets of wisdom on the site.

You can access Nonprofits on Facebook at www.nonprofits.fb.com
