News & Insights

Hamas’s recent terrorist attack on Israel unleashed barbaric acts of violence on unarmed civilians – men, women, and children – and its actions must be condemned.

Even amid the complexities of Middle East history and politics, there can be no justification for this, particularly as it comes against the long backdrop of antisemitism and the history of violence against Jewish people.

As an organization that has long supported theological schools in North America in their efforts to operate in peace and practice their religious beliefs, the In Trust Center for Theological Schools condemns the actions of Hamas, which have led to an international crisis and unleashed widespread human suffering in the region.

People of peace and good will – no matter their heritage or religious background – must stand united against such evil, and the In Trust Center invites others in theological education to stand with us.
