Wise Stewards is a governance initiative designed specifically for theological school boards and leadership teams. Participants get free access to a comprehensive board assessment, one-on-one coaching with a governance expert, tailored resources for your institution, and cohort-based peer learning opportunities. 
 
Objectives:
 
  • Creating space for innovation, leading change, and maximizing board potential.
  • Reimagining governance as a force for change.
  • Enhancing the president-board partnership in support of institutional renewal.
  • Clarifying roles and responsibilities of theological school boards. All In Trust Center members are welcome to apply.

Lilly Endowment grant deadlines coming up


The Lilly Endowment’s $87.5 million Pathways for Tomorrow initiative is open for its first phase of funding. The first phase is noncompetitive and offers up to $50,000 for ATS accredited schools. Deadlines to apply are March 1 and March 15. You can see more here

Pew survey reports on Black Church’s vital role in society
 
A recent Pew survey showed that 3 of 4 Black adults say that Black churches have played a role in helping create greater equity in the United States. And, the Black Church remains a vital focal point with 6 in 10 Black Americans reporting that they attended services in the past year at a Black Church. See more here.
