The Newsletter for Chairs of Theological School Boards
Vol. 2 No. 11

Where we're headed in the field

The In Trust Center sent a message earlier this week thanking everyone who participated in our survey for the Governance Initiative, and I want to reiterate how grateful I am. This is the first study of governance in theological higher education in over a decade, so the information we're gathering is needed and important.

This fall, we'll start sharing information in the Autumn issue of In Trust magazine and on our website. We will also start planning qualitative research that will extend into next year.

I believe what we're gathering will be important in helping shape the practices and models of governing and advisory boards of theological schools in the future. As a member of the In Trust Center, you'll receive updates as we go along, and you'll benefit from the programming we'll develop. We expect it to include board development grants, facilitated conversations, and a variety of other resources.

I'm looking forward to sharing more information soon. In the meantime, we're always available to have a conversation or provide help to you in your work. You can reach our Resource Consulting team via email here.

With gratitude for all you do in theological education,

Amy Kardash
President
