THE MAGAZINE
Theological education
in a time of individualism

The Theological Education Between the Times project has had scholars write on a variety of issues related to the field. In a new essay for In Trust magazine, Ted Smith, Ph.D., the project director of Theological Education Between the Times, examines the role of individualism in the future of theological education and the Church. He considers how schools can respond and what they can look for in his thoughtful essay. Also in the winter issue:
  • Creating paths forward: A gathering of Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative grantees provided an opportunity for schools - and the field - to hear how schools are progressing and what they're learning. Find out more about the event and some of the findings here.
  • Ready for the golden years: A program at Union Theological Seminary is helping people entering the retirement age to reflect theologically and prepare for new opportunities in the "golden years." Read more about the program here.
Full issue: You can read the magazine on the In Trust Center website.
