News & Insights

Last week the Summer 2015 issue of In Trust magazine landed in the mailboxes of people affiliated with the In Trust Center's member schools. Here are some of the highlights:

  • "Where in the world is John Wesley?" Asbury Theological Seminary used a custom-made John Wesley doll to increase connections with alumni and donors, as well as raise funds -- to great effect.
  • "Nourish friends, raise funds." Pontifical College Josephinum took a closer look at its fundraising events to assess their impact on its mission. The result was that abandonment of a few old ones, as well as the addition of some new.
  • "Historic seminary leverages land, sheds debt." New Brunswick Theological Seminary sold part of its historic campus but added a new building that better matches the needs of its student body -- and the surrounding community as well.
  • "The great experiment." Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary is launching tuition-free master's programs. Here's how they're doing it.
