The Russell Moore Show

Thoughtful takes on current issues

While not explicitly political, this show by Christianity Today’s Russell Moore (editor-in-chief and director of its Public Theology Project) features “cultural conversations and pressing ethical questions that point us toward the kingdom of Christ.” Recent pods feature Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg exploring “politics, Palestine, and publishing,” and George Packer, an Atlantic staff writer, on the political divide in America.

Faithful Politics

We love their tagline: Not right. Not left. Up.

Hosts Josh Burtram (the “Faithful Host”), who is a pastor and a Republican, and Will Wright (the “Politics Host”) who is a Democrat and political enthusiast, explore the news of the day in faith and politics. Promising “respectful dialogue,” the hosts attempt to explore important issues in a balanced, thoughtful way.” Guests contribute to the range of perspectives on topics as hot as abortion, war, religious nationalism, and just about any other controversial subject you can imagine.

All Things Reconciled

Voices from around the world

Our newsfeeds are full of disturbing stories from the war in Ukraine and other places of conflict around the world. The stories less frequently heard are accounts of reconciliation and peacemaking that unfold in the background – past and present. That’s the premise of this Canadian-made podcast that falls under the umbrella of the World Evangelical Alliance.
